Too Much Misclicking

So, the last time I claimed to be alive & kicking... I lied.
For the past season or so, due to a dead backlight of my laptop, I've been around mostly on a tablet device. Suffice it to say, most of my experience with touch based devices can be summed up to my realization of my horrible typing, auto corrected or otherwise. Why tablets must be so far away from outclassing a desktop in certain fields is beyond me. It's also hard to press the right thing, so far I've accidentally faved two things throughout my "tablet career". I feel that touch screens need a slow, painful, horrible death, they feel like a horrible input device.

P.S. this journal has been edited twice, already. I'm that awesome.

Even so, I'm considering to get a USB keyboard for it and a stylus, to finally turn the bloody thing into a slightly more productive tool, while I continue to look for either any reliable service center for the laptop, or a potential replacement for its display. So, I'll see how the tablet fares from a graphical standpoint and if anyone has any hints or tips (or recommended apps) for a Nexus 7 (1st gen), or knows someone with experience in that field, I'd be glad to hear (or read, duh) about it. Painting would be a primary concern, but other functionality is welcome, too. We'll see how far I can push this brick.

If/When my laptop breaths again, I'll also likely look into writing some browser addons focused on providing a bit of extra functionality for DA that I've been hoping to see for a while, now, and I'll probably give the entertainment section for Android devices a shot, as well, largely because I now benefit from having a tablet to test things on (though I'll have to get used to the platform and IDE, so that may take some time). So, if anyone wants to see something in those respective departments, I'm here (more or less), though I make no guarantees, given my current status in relation to this is uncertain.
