Question about this WIP

Yeah.. ok. I swear to God, this is one thing I will finish. For once, in my life.. D:

Anyway, aside from a few problems I'm hoping to fix (such as how I forgot to add depth to the blade), I'm at a bit of a loss, in the sense that I'm not sure I can get the brighter blue (or any other colour I've tried, so far) on the dress right. I'm hoping to keep the Persian-green-with-a-dash-of-red on the top and I'm aiming for a generally bright/pale colour for the dress. There's also a small issue that some of the finer shading was lost on the dress and it looks largely monochromatic, the way it is (might have to redo those, re-scan and repaint fuck me for not having the luxury of working with too many layers).

For reference, it represents a character named Mythrill, which is one of ~Aophrodite's ([link] [link]) (for which I made another piece, earlier this year)

May go to scraps as I advance with this and (hopefully) submit a finished version.
